We are seeking a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer ready to advance into a Mortgage Production Manager role in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and surrounding Treasure Valley communities. You will grow your own production, recruit and develop loan officers, strengthen local partnerships and help shape branch performance and culture.
The company is a growing mortgage lender serving the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West. Work directly with accessible leadership, contribute to company decisions and build the leadership experience to take on broader responsibility. Prior management experience is welcome, but accomplished producers with demonstrated leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
How you will grow and lead:
- Maintain and grow your personal production while modeling strong client service, accountability and teamwork.
- Expand your responsibilities into branch production, pipeline health, conversion and profitability.
- Build your team by recruiting experienced producers and developing new loan officers through the company’s training academy.
- Coach loan officers through pipeline reviews, business planning and skill development, drawing on your own origination experience.
- Grow Realtor, builder and employer affinity relationships with Marketing and Business Development.
- Contribute to company strategy and partner with operations to support clients and referral partners.
Goals for your first year in leadership:
Recruit 2–3 producing loan officers, fund $30 million in branch volume, and establish 3 builder or employer affinity relationships.
Leadership authority and support:
Branch hiring authority, input on recruited loan officer compensation, recruiting and marketing budgets, branch P&L visibility, and clear rules for distributing company-generated opportunities.
Experience you bring:
- At least five years of residential mortgage industry experience, with current personal production averaging approximately 2–3 funded loans monthly over the past 12 months; ideally $12 million or more annually, considering loan size, units and sources.
- A portable, self-sourced book, strong referral relationships and a solid reputation, with current or recent Treasure Valley origination.
- A desire to advance into leadership, supported by experience mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, building referral networks or helping others succeed. Prior management, coaching or recruiting experience is an advantage, but is not required. Established teams are welcome.
- Active NMLS license and ability to obtain required Idaho licensing.
- Readiness to balance personal origination with recruiting, coaching, market growth and collaboration with operations.
Culture and Values:
Bring these shared values to your client relationships and the team you help build:
- Community. Share successes and support teammates and local communities.
- Accountability. Own results, honor commitments and address issues early.
- Respect. Listen, welcome ideas and treat operations as partners.
- Enthusiasm. Bring energy, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Support. Share knowledge, mentor talent and help others through challenges.
Compensation and benefits:
- $48,000 annual base salary for branch leadership.
- 120 basis points (1.20%) on self-sourced personal funded loans; 50 basis points (0.50%) on company-generated personal funded loans.
- 10 basis points (0.10%) on team funded production, plus incentives for successful producing hires.
- Qualified hires receive a 60–90 day income guarantee, paying the greater of the guarantee or earned compensation. The amount depends on verified production and current compensation.
- Employer contributions toward employee health, dental and vision premiums, plus a 401(k), subject to plan terms and eligibility.
- A path to a P&L model for established leaders and branches producing $24 million or more annually, with eligibility and terms negotiated case by case.
Resources for your next stage:
- Personalized onboarding and transition planning for licensing, pipeline, systems and launch activities.
- Marketing investment in personal branding, campaigns, advertising, events and partner co-marketing tailored to your market.
